Houston becomes a clean and unpolluted city that supports technologically advanced clean alternative fuels and energy efficient green buildings in sustainable developments. (4.3)

Actions Proposed by Participants

• Encourage the use of new sources of energy and cleaner fuels.
• Regulate and drastically reduce noise and visual pollution levels.
• Provide incentives for the development of “green” buildings.
• Encourage through regulations sustainable building practices.
• Address consumer and industrial wastes in ways that enhance the natural environment with County and State.
• Design “green buildings” that integrate with and respect their surroundings.
