ready to address challenges of future growth. In the past month,
two significant things happened that indicate the City will
act to position Houston as a highly desirable place to live
and work in the 21st century. At Citizens Congress II, Houstonians
suggested ways the city could be configured to accommodate a
30% increase in population and the Planning Commission announced
committees will explore new f tools for future development similar
