Goal and Action 4: Infrastructure Provision and Maintenance

Houston maintains and improves its infrastructure – including streets, roads, sidewalks, traffic management devices and public facilities – in an efficient and fiscally responsible manner. (4.4)

Actions Proposed by Participants

• Allocate resources in a fiscally responsible manner through a quality, long-range plan for infrastructure.
• Build and maintain streets, sidewalks, and public facilities in neighborhoods.
• Is sensitive to the needs and resources of historic, cultural and expanding neighborhoods.
